Partnerships,
press, and strategic conversations.
Acquisitions, partnerships, capital, press or thoughtful introductions — we read every relevant message and reply to the ones that warrant a response. Generic sales outreach and bulk pitches don't get a reply; we trust you'll understand.

Who finds the right desk at this inbox.
One email reaches a small operating team, so it helps to know which conversations we actually have time for. The list below is not an attempt to filter you out — it's an attempt to set expectations honestly so the reply, when it comes, is useful.
- Acquirers and strategic investors — If you represent a company or fund looking at the multi-brand D2C category, and you've already formed a view on where Tahulla Ventures would fit your thesis, we are open to a conversation. Please come with a premise; we will respond in kind.
- Operators with a brand to bring in — If you run a D2C digital brand in one of our categories and the model we describe sounds like what your business needs, we'd like to hear from you. Include enough about the brand for us to understand it without a follow-up email.
- Partners with a specific premise — Distribution partners, infrastructure providers, content syndication, payments partners. Bring the specific overlap; we'll bring honesty about whether we can do something together.
- Press with a concrete angle — If you're writing a story that benefits from our perspective, we are likely to help. We don't comment on speculative pieces or rumour-driven stories.
- People interested in working with us — We don't publish open roles often, but we are always interested in operators with a portfolio of work that speaks for itself. If you're sending a message like this, send the work, not the cover letter.
How quickly, and how honestly.
We treat the inbox as a serious channel, not as a marketing surface, so we behave accordingly.
- Relevant messages — A few business days. Longer if the question deserves thought, the proposal needs internal discussion, or the introduction crosses time zones. We do not respond instantly; we respond properly.
- Polite declines — When we say no, we try to say why in one or two sentences. The courtesy is owed to anyone who took the time to write something thoughtful, even if the answer is no.
- Generic sales outreach — Ignored, without apology. We don't grant exceptions; we don't engage in the conversation just because the sender insists.
- Press requests outside our scope — Forwarded politely if we can think of a more relevant source, otherwise declined.
A short reply to a thoughtful email is a fair trade. A long reply to a generic email is a waste of two people's time.
— Internal communications noteThe threshold, plainly stated.
The bar for a reply is low in form and high in substance. The form just needs to be human and clear. The substance needs to be specific enough that we can do something with it.
